Since the beginning the „white gold“ is more than only a mixture of kaolin, feldspar and quartz. Until nowadays it kept its value. It is a fragile and brittle, precious, usable and decorative collector’s piece and an investment of value.
"Hands" make Goebel. We remain true to this philosophy today. We create masterpieces... one at a time. Our pieces are created as contemporary designs or by using historical motifs that are adapted to a modern sensibility.
Handicraft meets art and turns every piece into an unmistakable unique piece.

The company “F. & W. Goebel” was founded in January, 1871 by Franz Detleff and William Goebel in Oeslau-Rödental. Over the decades, Goebel produced almost everything that can be made from porcelain and ceramics: accessories, figurines, tableware and much more.
In 1993 established the business division Gifts and Decorative Accessories under Wilhelm Goebel. The close cooperation with new artists is continued and the product range enlarged. The foundation stone for today‘s assortment is laid.
Since September, 2010 Goebel Porzellan is part of PM Kapital GmbH & Co. KG, Bad Staffelstein, as well as Kaiser Porzellan. In May, 2016 the complete administration of Goebel has moved from Roedental to Bad Staffelstein into the newly designed rooms on the Kaiser factory premises. Six years later, in September 2022, the Goebel brand outlet moved also to Bad Staffelstein.
Today, Goebel is active in more than 60 countries and supports more than 2,000 specialist retailers internationally. Around 60 employees work at the company headquarters in Bad Staffelstein, Upper Franconia. The collection consists of around 2,000 decorative and functional products, almost all of which feature works by living or classic artists.
The spectrum ranges from classics such as Gustav Klimt or Vincent van Gogh to modern Pop Art artists such as Romero Britto, James Rizzi, Ed Heck and Mauro Bergonzoli, who find their interpretation on a variety of products.
The range includes Gifts and Decorative Accessories as well as a high-quality Fine Bone China Coffee Mug Collection, Lifestyle Accessoires and Jewellery. Art lovers are particularly interested in limited editions and sculptures, which are mainly sold in galleries.
The popular Rosina Wachtmeister cats with their typical faces, the adorable Goebel Christmas angels and the Easter bunnies, whose origins go back to the 1950s, round off the portfolio.
